If you want to say "Hello" in general, you should say "Konnichiwa"... "Moshi-moshi" is generally used over the phone. ^^; I think it's a shortened form of some expression, but I forget.And LMAO! Yes,...

I actually learned both ways. "Konnichiwa" is basically a general hello, "moshi-moshi" is over the phone, and I think "kombanwa" is similar to "good evening." I don't know if they have a "good...

'u' and 'i' are silent vowels, meaning if you can't be bothered to prounounce them it doesn't matter. And I made a mistake there. 'Konban wa' is used in the evening.
